The Road to Finding your Major, Step 1: The Talk

First of all, I'd like to thank you guys for taking an interest in my blog. My last post alone brought in 40 views. Amazing!

So the other day I told you guys I'd be:
1. Changing my Major to Psychology
OR
2. Transferring into the "Undeclared" college to feel around different majors
OR
3. Sticking with Chemistry

I haven't made a decision yet, and don't have to for a month, but yesterday I made the first step: talking with my advisor.

It really was a simple conversation. I walked into her office and mentioned I was having my doubts about pursuing the study of chemistry. She understood, and gave me a few resources to help me.

-The Majors and Minors fair, sponsored by the undeclared college, was coming up. As the name suggests, it's where a bunch of different Majors have a booth where you can find out more information about them. Simple enough.

-Visiting the Career Center. Apparently, they offer some kind of "consultation" service, as well as a test for finding your interest, which could help guide you in the right direction. Definitely need to stop by there.

-Callin' up the undeclared college could help, too. I need to make a "back-up plan" of classes, since registration is in a month. I'd also like to hear their thoughts on the matter.

The advisor admitted this is all she could really tell me, since she specialized in the chemistry and chemical engineering curricula, and I understood. They can't know everything, right?

Thanks for reading, and be on the lookout to an extension to my "Reflections" list.
