I have a secret to share...

Okay, so I've never told anyone this before...it's a secret I've harbored for a few months now, and I think this blog is the place to share it...

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm...I'm...

I'm a brony.

Yup. I'll give you a minute to let it sink in.

Okay, so you probably have no idea what a "brony" is. A brony is someone who watches "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic," and who is outside its intended age group.

Now what in the hay is MLP:FiM? It's a show on the Hub Network. It's a beautiful and witty piece of animation with likable characters and relatable scenarios.

I'll give you the first two episodes. Watch and be enlightened.

Please, give it a chance.

Hopefully, you'll notice how beautiful the animation is, how cliche but somehow unique and likable the characters are. If you decide to continue watching the series (on Youtube), you won't regret it. The gettin gets good as the episodes progress.

So what makes the show so good? It's the fact that so much effort was put into the writing and art direction, all to sell toys. That's the point of this show--to get little girls to by Hasbro's little pony figurines.

Much of the awesome comes from Lauren Faust, ex-Executive Producer (now consulting producer) of the show. She's worked on The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, so she knows what she's doing. She know of the crowd the show now brings in, and has been very receptive. Everyone loves her for this.

So much fan artwork and fanfiction has spawned from this show; it's ridiculous, but amazing.

There are...26?...episodes so far, and season 2 is starting later this month, leaving many Bronies excited. tune into the Hub to see'em.

Also:

If you find yourself liking the show, "Welcome to the Herd." If not, "I'm still gonna love and tolerate the sh*t outta you."

Also, Fluttershy's the best pony, no questions asked. That is all.
